2024Clubhouse Nights NYC
Tennis is evolving. Clubhouse Nights was built to push it forward—louder, rowdier, and fully immersed in culture.
We partnered with On to bring the energy of tennis beyond the court, taking over the Brooklyn Navy Yard in the lead-up to the U.S. Open. With GQ as a media partner, the night blended sport, music, and nightlife, featuring professional player Ben Shelton on the court while DJs Yaeji, Memphy, and other New York staples set the tone for a high-energy crowd.
Designed to rethink the sport, Clubhouse Nights placed tennis at the center of culture and nightlife—a Clubhouse built for a new generation.

The space was built to reimagine the tennis clubhouse—a place where sport and culture collide. A custom-built court sat at the center, designed to shift from competition to celebration. At Clubhouse Nights the court is the dance floor.
Two oversized LED screens brought the energy of a stadium into the space, displaying live footage of the match from game cameras capturing every rally. As the night transitioned, the same setup turned the focus onto the audience, broadcasting crowd shots of clubbers dancing in real-time, blurring the line between spectator and participant.

For the match, two teams faced off in Clubhouse Clash, bringing together cultural figures and pro players on the same court. In partnership with GQ, we brought cultural tastemakers to the court with Sam Hine, Charlotte Day Wilson, Mia Regan, Michelle Lee, and more playing alongside tennis pros Ben Shelton and Flavio Cobolli, keeping the stakes high.
Chris Black and Jason Stewart of the How Long Gone podcast took on double duty as emcees and umpires, bringing a playful, irreverent energy that made the night feel part exhibition, part performance—fully engaging from start to finish.

As soon as the final point was played, the space shifted. The court transformed into the dancefloor as Yaeji headlined the night, with Young Teesh, Memphy, and Oscar Nñ setting the tone. The energy never let up—tennis as a spectacle, a social scene, and a cultural moment.

Clubhouse Nights challenged expectations of what tennis can be—bringing it out of its traditional setting and into the culture at large. By transforming the environment, energy, and way people engage with the game, we helped shape an experience that made the sport feel new again.
