Farrow & Ball x Christopher John Rogers
2023Carte Blanche

Our approach was to translate the collection’s emotional range into a sculptural landscape— vignettes that suggested home not as it is, but as it’s remembered: fragmented, playful, and charged with feeling.
Curved walls and layered backdrops were wrapped in saturated color and graphic pattern, inviting guests to move through spaces of the designer’s memory. Color became a medium of storytelling—Raw Tomatillo green evoked the smell of frying tomatoes; Sardine grey the gleam of a grandfather’s kitchen.

Dinner came from chef DeVonn Francis of Yardy World, whose personal approach brought the menu close to home.
The foods that inspired the collection’s colors returned as flavor—carried through dishes like roasted carrot salad with labneh and hot honey, and black tahini cake with preserved berries and plum glaze. A palette made edible.

The result was a shared language across mediums—food, design, space— rooted in memory, and rendered in full color.
